Packing Instructions for Sending Flowers

We receive flowers from all over the world safely. To ensure your flowers arrive in the best condition, it’s important to pack them well.

You will need: a box, kitchen roll, tape, and a pen. Do not spray your flowers with water. If stems are exposed, wrap them in damp tissue paper.

Scrunch up tissue paper to create a soft bed inside the box and place your flowers on it.

Do not add any heavy objects or water containers that could crush your flowers.

Layer more scrunched-up paper above the flowers for cushioning.

Include a covering letter with your contact details, whether you want the flowers pressed or three-dimensionally preserved, and a list of the contents (e.g., Bridal Bouquet, Buttonhole). Mention any sentimental items included.

You may send up to 10 spare flowers, but we cannot preserve additional unbooked arrangements. We charge for the return of any unframed flowers.

Seal the box securely with tape.

Label the box with our address and phone number: Precious Petals, Unit 10 Cufaude Business Park, Cufaude Lane, Bramley, Hants RG26 5DL, 01256 882422.

The easiest way is to use Royal Mail’s fast overnight service. Take the parcel to the post office before 3:00 pm or arrange it online.

If you have any questions, please contact us. We require a deposit as detailed on our pricing page before we begin preserving your flowers.
